View Endoscopic Vertical Facelift Photos
From small incisions in the hair bearing scalp,
the forehead, brow, upper eyelid, lower eyelid, cheek, and
the jowls can be treated. The pull is in a vertical direction
to give a more natural lift without the "lateral sweep".
This one single operation
through a set of tiny, well hidden access incisions in the
hair bearing scalp, all of the following things can be achieved.
- Forehead lift: Smoothing
out the transverse wrinkles of the forehead.
- Treatment of gabellar
frown lines: These are the muscles that many use BOTOX to
smooth out. However, the effects of Botox is only temporary.
Endoscopically, the muscles that cause the frown lines can
be weakened permanently.
- Browlift:
- Upper blepharoplasty
: redrapping the upper eyelid skin without cutting the eyelid
skin.
- Skin Only Lower Blepharoplasty: Instead of removing lower eyelid fat (potential of becoming hollowed out looking as one gets older) the herniated lower eyelid fat pads are tightened back into the orbit by tightening the eyelid muscle. Excess skin is removed via a skin pinch technique.
- Cheeklift/midfacelift:
Early signs of aging, the cheek descends and accentuates
the nasolabial folds (the laugh lines). The Endoscopic vertical
lift is especially designed to treat midface problems.
- Jowls: As we age,
the jawline becomes more square shaped instead of heart
shaped. The jawline can be recontoured from the scalp incision.
- Limited Incision Lower Face and Neck Lift: This addresses the lower 1/3 of the face and neck. We try to re-drape and remove excess skin of the neck through the incision behind the ear and the posterior scalp as much as possible. The incision around the earlobe and in front of the tragus is used only sparingly, depending on the amount of excess skin present.
